Synteni was one of the first (the first?) commercial spotted microarray companies.
History:
Synteni was founded in 1994 and became the microarray division of Incyte when it was acquired in 1997. Incyte has since left the microarray business, selling all of their microarray technology to Quark Biotech in 2002.
