Solexa is developing sequencing-by-synthesis technology. They are focusing on highly parallel short-read sequencing.
History:
Originally spun out from Cambridge University, Solexa merged with Lynx. They were then acquired by Illumina in 2007. They offices in Hayward, CA and Little Chesterford, UK are being maintained.
