History:

Rosetta Inpharmatics, formed in 1996, is now a wholly owned subsidiary of Merck & Co.. The microarry printing technology has been sold off to Agilent, and Rosetta Biosoftware (maker of the Resolver Gene Expression Data Analysis System) was formed as a business unit. The biosoftware unit was sold off to Microsoft in 2009. The gene expression lab was sold off to Covance in 2009. It is unclear what, if anything, will remain.
