Global Genomics Capital is a holding company for genomics technology.

Global Genomics Capital has been acquired by CytRx. After the acquisition, the newly formed company (still called CytRx) moved to LA to be run by former GGC employees. Essentially this was a way for GGC to "go public" without going through the IPO process. Prior to this merger, GGC owned positions in Blizzard Genomics and Psynomics. CytRx held these companies through their wholly owned subsidiary GGC Pharmaceuticals until they wrote off those investments in 2003. |
