Founded in 1995 as Chugai Biopharmaceuticals, a subsidiary of Chugai Pharmaceuticals. Chugai Pharmaceuticals merged with Roche in 2002 and Chugai Biopharmaceuticals became Chugai Pharma USA.
They moved from San Diego to Bedminister, NJ in 2005 and then Berkeley Heights, NJ in 2008.
