Spun out from Advanced Bioconcept Limited before it was acquired by NEN (which became a part of PerkinElmer). Caprion Pharmaceuticals merged with Ecopia BioSciences in 2007 to become Thallion Pharmaceuticals. The new company subsequently spun off the newly formed Caprion Proteomics later that same year.
