History:

Caliper Technologies bought out Zymark in 2003. Despite being "bought out", the Zymark CEO became the Caliper Technologies CEO and the newly merged company moved its headquarters from Mountain View, CA to Hopkinton, MA. Caliper then changed its name to Caliper LifeSciences in Jan 2004.
